Job Summary:

Igloo is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Progress Chaser / Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our workshops and compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Coordination: Organize and assign vehicles to ensure that onsite contractors have the correct vehicles to work on and meet deadlines.
  • Job Card Management: Print, assign, and distribute job cards to team members, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Quality Control: Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that work is being quality checked efficiently and request additional work when required.
  • Inspection and Repair: Request inspections of vehicles requiring additional repair hours and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Workshop Maintenance: Ensure that the workshops and compounds are kept tidy and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • IT Skills: Basic IT skills, including proficiency in software applications and systems used in the workshop environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Logical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Interest in Cars: Ideally, an interest in cars and a passion for the automotive industry.
