Manufacturing Planning Specialist

Henderson Scott is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planning Specialist to lead the coordination of all planning activities necessary to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align the MPS with customer demand, materials, capacity, and inventory targets
  • Manage and schedule work within the MRP system to ensure accurate delivery forecasts and efficient material inventories
  • Minimise waste and costs while ensuring adherence to manufacturing strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain management, or a related position
  • Experience in the use of ERP systems, particularly SAP
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

About the Role:

This is a key position within the planning and control team, requiring a strong background in manufacturing planning or supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ERP systems, particularly SAP, and excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
