About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at London South East Colleges. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for leading on the clinical practice aspect and delivering science-based units for our Level 3 T-Level qualifications in Health.

You will work with 16-18-year-old Study Programmes and 19 plus learners who are on Study programmes, providing an excellent learning experience to ensure individual learners gain the appropriate skills in readiness for further study, employment, or an apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver clinical practice and science-based units for our Level 3 T-Level qualifications in Health.
  • Lead on the clinical practice aspect, working with students and staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum content, ensuring it meets the needs of our learners.
  • Contribute to the development of our teaching and learning strategies, ensuring they are aligned with our college's vision and values.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues to support their professional development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Nursing degree and a minimum of 5 years' industrial experience.
  • Recent experience of dealing with student nurses in a Higher Education Institution or clinical practice.
  • A full teaching qualification or be working towards one.
