Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team at CVL:LDN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of utility projects, working closely with our operations team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee commercial aspects of utility projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
  • Work with the operations team to survey completed works, providing confirmation of measures and quality control.
  • Prepare and submit CVRs, ensuring timely preparation and agreement of changes to avoid WIP and maximize cash-flow.
  • Oversee and ensure that any project variations are captured, and accurate records are kept.
  • Produce cash-flow forecasts and report on variances, ensuring business targets are exceeded.
  • Ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets, and cost control procedures are utilized effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor on utility projects.
  • Professionally qualified in Civil Engineering/ QS or hold relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
