Lead Technical Coordinator

As a key member of the Skydance Media team, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development and support of innovative tools for our production teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating solutions that enhance productivity and meet the high-quality standards set by our company.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with artists and production management to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
  • Partner with engineers to design, develop, and refine tools and processes for feature film production.
  • Provide regular updates to the TD Supervisor on project status, tool performance, and production operations.
  • Continuously evaluate user experiences, satisfaction, and understanding to identify areas for improvement in our production pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with current artistic methodologies and technology trends to inform the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
  • Support the growth and development of team members by providing guidance, instruction, and mentorship.
  • Lead the team in delivering high-quality assets that meet deadlines and artistic standards.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in the VFX or animation industries.
  • 1+ year of experience in animation industry.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Deep understanding of 3D animated film production pipelines and workflows.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python.
  • Experience building tools for various software platforms.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with C++ is a plus.
  • Ability to document digital processes and technical solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of continuous delivery and agile methodologies.
