Position Title: Linux Engineer

Contract Type: Initial contract with potential for extension

Daily Rate: Up to £550

Security Clearance: Must possess current SC clearance and be open to DV clearance vetting

We are looking for a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at OB Collective. This role involves working on a significant government initiative that requires a deep understanding of Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a complex enterprise infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across various projects.
  • Engage in both business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and the development of new systems and applications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Linux systems administration and associated technologies.
  • Familiarity with storage solutions, particularly Ceph.
  • Proficient scripting abilities in Bash and/or Python.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible.
