Job Description

**Job Title:** Print Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Print Operative to join our team at a leading Can manufacturer in the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the printing line, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and comply with company health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Set and run the printing line, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare materials required for the next job on the programme, ensuring they are in good order and ready for production.
  • Produce each job according to specification on the Works order and Target card, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inform the Shift Manager of any machine failures, defective materials, or other problems that may arise during production.
  • Isolate any non-conforming product and report to the Shift Manager and Quality Control team.
  • Hand over to the on-coming Printer and inform them of the state of the line, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Minimise waste and maintain a clean and tidy work place, adhering to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records according to Company requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 requirements, upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Carry out any other work or duties as the workload requires, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the printing line, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to company regulations.
