We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a proficient and motivated Electrical Operations Lead to become a part of our team at Integral, contributing to our client's facility.

Integral is recognized as a premier provider of facilities management solutions globally, fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace where your contributions can have a meaningful impact.


As a senior Electrical Operations Lead, you will oversee the electrical team on-site. The ideal candidate should possess a completed accredited Electrical apprenticeship along with the necessary electrical certifications to operate on Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing faults in LV and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) control systems, including monitoring and analyzing power quality.
  • Ensuring the availability of appropriate spare parts for maintenance and urgent repairs, while establishing estimated timelines for remedial actions.
  • Responding to maintenance requests promptly, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Performing maintenance tasks independently.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of IT environments and data systems.
  • Demonstrating technical knowledge of computer room operations, including power distribution, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and cooling systems.
  • Maintaining Dali lighting systems, including reprogramming and software modifications (training will be provided).
  • Utilizing building management systems for troubleshooting and operational purposes, with experience in Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, Fan Coil Units (FCU), and chilled water circuits.
  • Understanding HVAC systems and their operations.
  • Testing and diagnosing power quality issues, including harmonic distortion, using on-site power analyzers.
  • Implementing a risk-focused maintenance strategy for plant and systems in critical environments.
  • Escalating urgent matters to the Technical Services Manager and ensuring all engineering maintenance documentation is current and compliant with industry standards.
  • Coordinating with client representatives regarding maintenance and repair activities.
  • Conducting site assessments and generating Works Requests, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments for planned tasks.
  • Supervising contractors as necessary.
  • Ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and critical facility PPM tasks are executed on schedule, along with the completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures during maintenance activities, utilizing the permit to work system where applicable, and implementing improvements identified during inspections.
  • Maintaining compliance with L8 regulations and managing on-site water treatment systems.
  • Communicating building-related issues effectively to end users and management.
  • Understanding the Construction (Design and Management) regulations with experience in previous electrical installation projects.
  • Exhibiting strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire the team.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possessing knowledge of COSHH, Working at Heights, and Risk Assessment protocols.
  • Holding relevant health and safety certifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
  • Having a Higher Diploma or NVQ level qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in testing and inspecting electrical systems.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in managing data centers or critical environments.
  • Familiarity with emergency response protocols and utility monitoring.
  • Knowledge of the 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations and water hygiene standards.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC systems.
  • Operational experience in managing Environmental, Health & Safety, and Quality Systems.
