Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Menzies LLP. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, and attending client meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including financial statement preparation and audit planning
- Oversee the work of junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Attend client meetings and provide audit services, including financial statement review and audit testing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing value-added services
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and client services
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Minimum of five years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
