Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electro Plating Technician to join our team at Interaction - Letchworth. As an Electro Plating Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality plating processes and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Control: Maintain quality standards by monitoring and controlling plating processes, identifying and rectifying any issues that may arise.
  • Component Handling: Load and unload plant as required, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of components.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of process additions, maintenance, and quality control measures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Recognize, rectify, or report any trends in rejects and other quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement of plating processes.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:

  • Education: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in plating, with a strong background in plating plant operations.
  • Skills: High level of attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, organized, and methodical.
