As a key member of our Children's Outpatient Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a small team of nurses in the Children's Outpatient Department, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and meet the needs of our patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and experience.
- Provide education and training to colleagues, promoting best practice and ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Current NMC registration and a relevant children's qualification.
- Experience of leading a team and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
