Role Summary


The strategic oversight of a portfolio of clients within the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage sector, encompassing some of Europe's leading brands and pub chains, while supporting the Beverage Sector Director and an account management team to optimize Delta's revenue and profitability.

This role is crucial within The Delta Group's Beverage Sector, established to provide our clients with focused expertise and dedication to the specific regulations and challenges inherent in the beverage industry.

Key Objectives:

1. Achieve and exceed established financial targets.

2. Cultivate and strengthen key client relationships, including senior stakeholders.

3. Develop and implement comprehensive client account strategies.

4. Ensure client retention and growth, including the promotion of Delta Group services.

5. Identify and disseminate best practices among the sales and account management teams.

6. Foster strong interdepartmental relationships.

7. Provide timely, insightful, and accurate reporting.

8. Deliver exceptional client service.

Core Responsibilities


Maintain a comprehensive overview of all activities managed by the account team, with a particular emphasis on the quality of internal briefings and the successful execution of key campaigns.

Build robust relationships with both new and existing clients.

Ensure timely and precise revenue forecasting for all clients.

Act as the primary escalation point for client-related issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

1. Proven experience in the beverage industry, whether on the client, agency, or supplier side.

2. Familiarity with creative and print production for point-of-sale, branding, and events.

3. In-depth understanding of the regulations and corporate social responsibilities associated with the beverage sector.

4. Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to motivate and maximize team performance.

5. Excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering positive relationships both internally and externally.

6. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to plan and prioritize tasks to meet client and business needs.

7. Commercially savvy, with a clear understanding of how to drive revenue and profitability.

8. Solid technical knowledge of all core services offered by Delta.

9. A proactive attitude focused on delivering high-quality results.

10. Exceptional communication skills.

11. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

12. Proficient in IT, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
