About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health Team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Community Mental Health Team, providing expert care and guidance to patients and staff.
  • Participate in the Consultant On Call rota, providing 24/7 support and expertise to the team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and primary care services.
  • Conduct outpatient clinics, assessing and managing patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
  • AC status or within 3 months.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience relevant to this role.
