About the Role

The Chief Information Security Officer will drive security strategy and provide tactical oversight around all matters related to cybersecurity operations, secure IT design & build, and applications-cum-infrastructure security operations. This role will operate in alignment with the organisation's mandates & security policies, being recognised as a Cybersecurity Leader, an all-rounder with extensive business outcome delivery experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the organisation's assets and data.
  2. Provide leadership and guidance to the security team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business, including IT design, development, and operations.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and frameworks.
  5. Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management and the board, ensuring they are informed and aligned with the organisation's security posture.

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  1. Extensive experience in developing and implementing security strategies and programs.
  2. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
  4. Experience working with industry standards and frameworks, such as DORA, NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO, MITRE, and CIS.
  5. Proven track record of delivering business outcomes and driving organisational growth.
