Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at CBRE GWS. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, utilizing your core skills to deliver an exceptional service to our clients while adhering to CBRE QHSE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver maintenance services in accordance with CBRE procedures and policies.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation, maintenance, and repair of the site's M&E plant and equipment and services.
  • Comply with and maintain records for all Quality Management Systems.
  • Assist with and participate in the contract Call Out System.
  • Represent CBRE at client meetings, reporting back to clients on actions taken in a timely manner.
  • Organize and assist in reactive repairs and PPMs to the site's M&E systems as per contract.
  • Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by Contract Support or Contract Management in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Prioritize and delegate reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules.
  • Utilize contract Help Desk and PPM systems to ensure service delivery.
Accountabilities
  • Reporting to the Contract Manager.
  • Accountable to the Contract Manager and day-to-day to relevant client contacts.
  • Accountable for maintaining the CBRE & SSL logbooks up to date.
  • Ensuring all CBRE QHSE procedures are followed and utilizing the A-Z CBRE rules where required.
Person Specification
  • Good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills. Recognized technical qualifications to carry out the role of Electrical Engineer.
  • Recognized Electrical Qualifications (essential).
  • Recognized mechanical qualifications (desirable).
  • Knowledge of other building services is an advantage.
  • Experience working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes.
  • Fault finding on electrical circuits.
  • Knowledge of lone working requirements.
  • Risk Assessment trained.
  • Ability to carry out all M&E works on the sites and have a full understanding of all plant and how it works on site.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours.
  • Must be available to join a call-out rota.
  • Must be willing to travel between CBRE sites when required at reasonable notice.
  • Driving Licence essential.
  • To carry out reasonable management requests.
