Join Our Team as a Logistics Associate

At Challenge-trg Recruitment, we are seeking a dedicated full-time Logistics Associate to become a vital part of our operations.

Compensation:
As a Logistics Associate, you will receive an hourly wage of £13.19, with an additional £1.50 per hour for shifts in colder environments. Overtime pay ranges from £19.79 to £21.11 per hour for hours worked beyond 40 in a week. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to earn a performance-related bonus of up to £274 weekly.

Working Hours:
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, following a flexible schedule of 'any 5 from 7' days, which may include weekends. Your shifts will alternate weekly between early morning and late afternoon.

Daily Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Associate, your typical tasks will include:
- Operating within various temperature-controlled areas: ambient, chilled, and frozen.
- Utilizing a voice-picking system to select items and prepare them for distribution.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A willingness to work in diverse temperature settings, from room temperature to freezing conditions.
- Flexibility to accommodate irregular hours and weekend shifts.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
