Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team at the Minsterley facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and managing the designated production equipment, meeting daily operational targets, and upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Working Hours:
- 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts (day and night)

Contract Type:
- Permanent, Full-time

Compensation:
- £30,174

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute the daily production schedule.
2. Operate machinery and perform routine maintenance tasks.
3. Meet daily Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
4. Collaborate with Key Operators to implement start-up procedures, ensuring adherence to manufacturing, hygiene, and safety standards.
5. Ensure effective shift handovers, remaining on the line until relieved.
6. Monitor product quality, addressing non-conformities with appropriate corrective actions.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of SIC and Quality information.
8. Train fellow operators to ensure competency in assigned tasks.
9. Lead by example, promoting positive behavioral standards aligned with company values.
10. Comply with food safety regulations, effectively managing Critical Control Points (CCPs) and adhering to site quality protocols.
11. Maintain GMP standards in the production area, continuously seeking improvements.
12. Prioritize health, safety, and welfare for oneself and others.
13. Undertake additional duties as required within the scope of skills and abilities.

- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment is advantageous.
- Commitment to producing high-quality products with minimal waste.
- Experience in managing material losses.
- Strong adherence to GMP standards.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety statistics (e.g., accidents and near misses).
