Job Opportunity:

Medsolve is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in a 3-bed children's home in Coalville, Leicestershire.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments for the young people in our care.
  • Build strong relationships with the young people, their families, and external agencies to ensure a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy home environment, adhering to our cleaning rota system and encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained, with supervision and guidance from shift managers and senior staff.
  • Deliver high-quality residential care work, meeting the expectations of Ofsted and promoting a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a children's home setting.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, including sleep-ins, with a rota provided in advance.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Age 21 or above, as per regulations.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12 (non-Level 3 qualified) or £12.50 (Level 3 qualified).

Salary and Benefits:

£30,912 - £31,900 per annum, including sleep-ins, with shifts of 1 on and 2 off, working between 9:30am and 11pm, plus sleeps paid at £60. An extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities are also available.
