Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to expert for software safety matters, providing guidance on software safety practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the development of software safety capabilities within the organisation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to bid management by providing technical insights, and oversee software safety aspects in project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and reliability of software systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Working towards Fellowship status in a relevant professional institution.
  • Strong understanding of software safety standards, including ISO 26262 and DO-178C.
  • Experience with hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety case development.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
