  • Extensive knowledge of Dutch Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Regulations is essential.


We are looking for a committed and experienced Safety and Wellbeing Consultant to assist in the construction phase of a renewable energy project.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Dutch HSE regulations, relevant health and safety certifications, and significant experience with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

This role necessitates regular travel and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to Dutch health, safety, and environmental regulations during the construction phase.
Formulate and execute HSE policies and procedures in accordance with Dutch legal standards and industry best practices.
Conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
Manage all health and safety components of the renewable energy construction project.
Create and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans.
Track and report on health and safety performance, ensuring necessary corrective actions are taken.
Collaborate with project designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to fulfill CDM responsibilities.
Facilitate effective management of health and safety risks throughout the design and construction phases.

Training and Development:
Deliver health and safety training and orientations to project personnel and contractors.
Share findings and lessons learned with the project team and broader organization.

Wellbeing Programs:
Design and implement wellbeing initiatives to support the physical and mental health of the project team.
Evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing programs and make necessary adjustments.
Provide resources and support to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Essential Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Dutch HSE regulations.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
Thorough understanding of risk management and incident investigation processes.
Willingness to travel and work in various environments as required.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is highly advantageous.
