Position: Junior Irrigation Supervisor

Compensation and Benefits:

• Offering a salary range of £26,000 - £30,000 annually, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Junior Irrigation Supervisor, you will work closely with the Irrigation Manager and your duties will include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate irrigation of raspberry and blueberry crops.
• Performing regular water quality assessments.
• Overseeing fertigation strategies and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Installing, maintaining, and operating irrigation equipment.
• Managing glasshouse upkeep and climate regulation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in irrigation on fruit or crop farms.
• Residing locally to the Herefordshire area.
• Willingness to work weekends and additional hours during the growing season.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems is a plus (e.g., Dream2, AdCon, or PRIVA).
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Possession of a full, clean driving license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact with diverse colleagues.
• Capability to work independently.
• A strong desire to learn and grow in the role.
