Our client, a leading provider of mechanical plants for the Water industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team. Based in Kilmaurs, this full-time position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £70,000 (DOE) and a range of benefits, including life assurance, health care benefits, and a company pension scheme.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies and procedures.
- Take ownership of client enquiries and tenders, working closely with the line manager.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices.
- Procure plant, materials, and resources for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
- Lead site supervision and ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work, ensuring the well-being of employees and clients.
- Manage framework agreements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare, plan, and deliver projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Proven experience in the Water industry and construction site environments.
- Recognised qualifications, such as HND/Degree/Apprenticeship, and relevant certifications, such as IOSH, CSCS Card, and DOMS/Water Hygiene.
- Experience working with materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and ductile iron pipework.
- A thorough understanding of relevant H&S regulations and risk assessments.
- Ability to travel throughout Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK.
- Experience in mechanical plant repair, maintenance, and refurbishment, site surveys, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
