About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Support Officer. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will provide essential support in the planning and coordination of rail projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise closely with teachers to track and monitor progress, as well as provide one-to-one support to learners.
  • Support the Head of Department to make proactive actions to improve learner punctuality, attendance, retention, achievement, and future employment.
  • Enrol learners in courses and deliver Information, advice, and guidance sessions.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, promote and advertise scheduled courses, and commit to administrative tasks relating to Rail Engineering.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and administration skills.
  • Ability to prepare documents using IT packages, such as word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to plan effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in functional skills (literacy and numeracy).
  • Level 2 qualification in IT or Business Administration.
