About Our NurseryOur nursery is a unique and exceptional learning environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our idyllic setting includes a nature reserve, yurt, outdoor classroom, and nearby woodland, offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Educator in the Babies Room, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a calm and loving atmosphere that caters to the individual needs of each baby.
- Providing sensitive care and support, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Observing and assessing babies' progress, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Experience working with babies and young children.
- A deep understanding of child development in the early years.
- A patient, nurturing, and sensitive approach with excellent communication skills.
- Highly observant and able to identify individual needs and milestones.
- A calm and positive demeanor with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
