Position: Level 3 Nursery Caregiver

Salary: £12 to £15 per hour

Empowering Learning is collaborating with a Nursery seeking a Level 3 Nursery Caregiver to assist in two distinct areas, catering to both younger and older children.

Your role will encompass various nursery responsibilities both on-site and off-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nursery Manager and team in executing educational programs and activities for children.
  • Provide assistance to children with special educational needs.
  • Aid children in daily activities, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Facilitate children's academic and social growth.
  • Work alongside the Nursery Manager and colleagues to create and implement tailored education plans (IEPs) for children.
  • Track children's progress and relay feedback to the Nursery Manager.
  • Previous experience with children in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting is essential.
  • Familiarity with special education methodologies and techniques is advantageous. A patient, empathetic demeanor and a positive outlook towards working with children are crucial.
  • Ability to adjust to varying circumstances and manage challenging behaviors effectively.
  • Understanding of toddler care and development is beneficial.
This role demands a caring individual committed to addressing the needs of Early Years learners. The Nursery Caregiver will collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager to foster a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere. Experience with children, particularly in EYFS, is vital. The capacity to adapt to diverse situations and manage challenging behaviors is essential.
