About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps in Loughborough, Leicestershire. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of swim sessions for children aged 5-17 years, working alongside a qualified swimming teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe delivery of swim sessions, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols
  • Work closely with the swimming teacher to develop and deliver engaging swim programs
  • Supervise children during swim sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • React promptly to any incidents or emergencies, following the reporting procedure
  • Conduct regular depth tests to ensure the pool is safe for use

Requirements:

  • A current Lifeguard qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC)
  • At least 6 months' Lifeguard experience
  • Able to conduct a depth test at the venue
  • A passion for developing children's water confidence
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
