Chief Financial Director Opportunity

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to partner with a successful SaaS organisation on the South Coast that has recently secured funding for further growth plans. The company is now seeking a new CFO to join their Executive Board and help lead the business through its next chapter of progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small finance team, growing and developing members of the function, and increasing capacity and efficiency.
  • Provide sound and insightful financial analysis to support growth and enhance business performance understanding.
  • Offer strategic support for future lending and investment opportunities, collaborating with the CEO.
  • Contribute as a key member of a complex Board structure, including shareholders and private equity investors.
  • Develop a robust cash management policy to facilitate growth and maintain business value.
  • Support the CEO and Leadership Team in commercial decision-making, addressing regulatory matters, and ensuring efficient processes for strategic goals.
  • Manage relationships with external bodies, including Auditors, Banks, and advisory services.
  • Oversee financial regulatory matters and provide support with reviewing other regulatory concerns.
  • Act as a leadership presence in the office in the CEO's absence and support operations.
  • Experience in full financial leadership, developing others, and succession planning in the CFO position would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a desire to improve processes and be a self-starter.
  • Previous engagement with third-party funders, including Private Equity experience, will be considered highly valuable.
  • The role is suited for someone with experience in a mix of SME and corporate backgrounds, with experience related to Software as a Service, ICT, IT, and B2B industries.
