Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to partner directly with our CEO and drive the company's strategy. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the day-to-day financial management of our business, further develop the finance function, systems, and processes, and direct the accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and refine internal financial control policies, systems, and processes to support company growth
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring precise and timely reporting
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to devise and monitor financial plans, budgets, and cost-control measures
  • Lead budget and forecast processing, maintaining financial models and standard templates for planning processes
  • Enhance reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide valuable insights to external stakeholders and senior management
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for the finance team
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Hands-on experience ideally in a growth business
  • Recent experience in the Insurance sector, specifically in Underwriting or Brokers

We are open to candidates who can travel to Manchester and stay overnight to be in the office two days a week. While the preference is for someone local, the priority is finding the right profile, and this flexibility aligns with how most of our Senior Leadership Team operates.
