Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our Pre-Construction & Supply Chain Development & Performance senior management team, you will be responsible for championing the health and safety function, supporting the development of the health and safety supply chain, and providing functional input to team decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage resources proactively to ensure the best health and safety advisory service can be deployed for the business areas of responsibility.
  • Build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to influence across boundaries and inform policy making both regionally and nationally.
  • Participate in the development of health and safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of health and safety professionals.
Requirements:
  • Degree or NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety, and membership of a recognised engineering or safety professional body.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CDM2015 and experience of delivery and clear understanding of client responsibilities.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of construction site management, commercial aspects, procurement process, lean application, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines.
