Position Overview

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our operations, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, depending on your expertise. You will be responsible for domestic testing, inspection, and remedial electrical work, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will report directly to the Supervisor or Contract Manager, serving as the primary liaison between our organization and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspections, and testing.
2. Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
3. Performing electrical remedial works and new inspections.
4. Addressing reactive electrical tasks and completing emergency lighting inspections and repairs.
5. Ensuring that all work meets the required standards in various environments, including schools and communal areas.
6. Upholding the highest level of customer service and promoting a positive image of the company.
7. Complying with company policies and procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.
8. Producing timely reports in accordance with agreed standards.
9. Adhering to the company's quality management system and responsible recycling practices.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing, and installations, preferably in the public sector.
- A solid understanding of tools, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade.
- A current Trade Qualification and a CSCS card (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Proficiency in IT.
- A commitment to exceptional customer service.
