Job Title: Secondary Head of Year

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Year to take a strategic lead in maintaining high standards and aspirations. As a well-qualified and highly motivated individual, you will be responsible for leading a team of teachers and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of teachers to deliver high-quality education and support students to achieve their academic goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and raise standards.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement school policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers to improve their practice and student outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher with experience of leading a team of teachers.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve student outcomes.
  • Knowledge of curriculum and assessment frameworks.
