Position Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting the operational team to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effectively managing potential risks by rigorously evaluating our systems and processes.

Primary Duties:

  • Facilitate a cooperative environment for managing food safety and quality across the QA team and Operations, ensuring that these responsibilities are shared across all functions.
  • Address customer inquiries, conduct audits, and resolve complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist the Technical Manager in the effective measurement, analysis, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee Critical Control Point (CCP) checks and ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and customer specifications.
  • Establish clear expectations and standards for the quality team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Expertise in food safety and HACCP principles.
  • Experience in conducting audits.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a QA or production setting.
  • Familiarity with equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in numeracy and data accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Experience in training and development.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office applications.
