Position Overview:

As a Senior Apparel Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in a dynamic and innovative fashion supply company. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in women's jersey products, particularly those with experience in the supermarket sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all samples prior to fit meetings, including pressing/reference samples, specifying initial samples, and tracking production samples.
  • Conduct measurements and inspections of samples to ensure fit and quality, including sewing on buttons and ensuring proper tagging of samples.
  • Document feedback, manage correspondence, and collaborate across departments while participating in handover meetings.
  • Communicate with manufacturing facilities regarding fit feedback and specification requirements.
  • Interpret status reports and maintain updates on the critical path system.
  • Request and verify test reports as needed.
  • Gather and chase necessary information, including correct trims and visual sealing uploads.
  • Develop Tech Packs in close collaboration with pattern makers.

Candidate Profile:
  • Experience in a retail or supplier setting, ideally with a background in high street fashion and supermarket experience.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion, demonstrating a genuine passion for garment construction.
  • Understanding of pattern cutting and garment manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
