Senior Credit Controller

Air Charter Service, a leading aviation broker, is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join its Finance team at the London HQ.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for eliminating overdue debt by implementing best practices and discipline around debt collection. This role will involve personally contacting brokers and clients to ensure timely payments, overseeing global debtors, and ensuring compliance with company credit policy.
Key Responsibilities:- Personally contact brokers and clients to collect overdue payments
- Oversee global debtors to eliminate overdue debt
- Ensure compliance with company credit policy
- Liaise with the legal department for overdue debt
- Produce weekly management information
- Conduct broker training as required
- Manage and develop a Credit Controller
- Previous experience in a sales organization collecting debt across multiple geographies
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence brokers and clients
- Strong level of resilience
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- 22 days' holiday per year (increasing to 25 after 1 year of service)
