About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ILS Engineer to join our team at Experis - ManpowerGroup. As an ILS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the field of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ILS engineering support for communication systems, including the development of ILS plans and documentation.
  • Support the development of proposals for Ministry of Defence (MoD) projects, ensuring that ILS requirements are fully considered.
  • Conduct new and in-service product and system supportability analysis, including the development of supportability plans and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project, engineering, production, and other business areas to ensure that supportability and support-related design factors are fully considered during the design process.
  • Optimize through-life support and provide system supportability assurance, supporting customers and products.
  • Influence product, system, and support solution design for optimum Reliability, Maintainability, Testability, and Availability.
  • Prepare ILS and supportability documentation, including the development of tailored ILS element plans, reports, and in-service support plans.
  • Conduct detailed Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Supportability Analysis (SA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), spares modeling, and Ease of Maintenance Assessments (EMA).
  • Produce Technical Manuals to various formats, including AESPs and COTS manuals.
  • Liaise with internal project teams on a regular basis to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
