About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse to join our team at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen. As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in developing your skills in clinical practice, leadership, and management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the Emergency Department nursing team
  • Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and policies
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development of the Emergency Department's strategic plan
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration
  • Relevant Emergency/Post Graduate Diploma courses
  • Experience working as a Band 5 Registered Nurse in an Emergency Setting
  • BSc/Diploma in Nursing or equivalent specialised experience gained over time
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • ALS/EPLS
  • Relevant Emergency courses
