Job Overview

This role is part of the Retail Management team, responsible for the day-to-day running of designated stores within a specific area. The successful candidate will take ownership of various duties, ensuring store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved. In the absence of the Manager, this individual will be the first point of contact, motivating the workforce to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service while exceeding targets and maintaining business standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure customers receive considerate and responsible service throughout their visit.
    • Deal with inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure personal appearance and standard of dress for the internal team aligns with company guidelines.
    • Understand and implement the Customer Service measuring program, including Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Sales:
    • Ensure targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
    • Understand and interpret relevant Oracle reports.
    • Utilize in-store devices to drive sales and encourage team members to do the same.
    • Confidently use the store's dashboard to analyze Footfall, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Conversion.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Attract and engage customers through effective visual techniques.
    • Ensure the weekly brief is actioned in the store.
    • Verify that all merchandise is correctly priced, price amendments are implemented, and Point of Sale (POS) is accurately displayed.
    • Maintain stock displays clean and presentable at all times.
  • Training & Development:
    • Develop internal staff and promote progression within the group.
    • Monitor the Training and Development site and track staff progression through relevant E-assessments.
    • Assist with store recruitment, new starter inductions, and staff training.
    • Prioritize management development using the Trainee Management Academy.
    Requirements
    • Previous retail management experience.
    • Excellent Time Management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Willingness to travel.
