Meadow Bay Villages is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team in Hayling Island, Hampshire.
Roles and Responsibilities:- To work closely with the Head Chef and Management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- To maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- To lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve excellent results.
- To prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
- To ensure that all statutory elements of health and hygiene are adhered to and maintain the premises in a safe and healthy condition.
- To be responsible for the safe storage and control of potentially harmful materials and chemicals.
- To maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the hotel.
- To be responsible for your own continuing self-development and undertake training as appropriate.
- To undertake other duties appropriate to the post as required.
- Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
