We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at CityFibre. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in supporting the commercial and contractual management of a portfolio of telecoms projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the commercial resources of assigned projects, ensuring effective planning and control of expenditure.
- Support the authorisation and submission of project variations, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, providing robust and timely advice to stakeholders.
- Provide commercial and contractual expertise to contracts, including producing and submitting valuation certification, drafting and issuing correspondence, claims, budget monitoring, and producing contract/workstream performance data.
- Coach, develop, and mentor junior members of the team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Significant experience in senior commercial management and procurement of contractors, with working knowledge of NEC3 ECC forms.
- Effective negotiation with suppliers and partners, finding alternate solutions and outside-the-box thinking to resolve issues within contractual terms.
- Experience overseeing large capital expenditure projects, with a strong understanding of commercial and contractual risks.
- Ability to use data to provide financial reporting with actionable insights and strategic focus.
- HNC/HND level education, or equivalent.
