About the Role

We are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at our Scotland site. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge laser systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electronic circuits and assemblies from concept to production release and maintenance.
  • Debug, simulate, and validate electronic and system designs.
  • Perform reliability and regulatory testing of products.
  • Transfer design data sets to production for manufacturing and support during product lifecycle.
  • Occasional UK and international travel.
Requirements
  • Education to a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Demonstrable experience in board-level design and mixed-signal electronics.
  • Experience in microcontroller/mixed digital/analogue electronic circuit design.
  • Good understanding of product design from specification through to delivery.
  • Practical experience in Schematics Capture and PCB Design Tools.
  • Good prototyping skills and soldering with SMT components.
  • Excellent debugging skills and ability to integrate and validate electronic and system designs.
