In this role, you will provide tailored support to students facing behavioural difficulties, including those diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, as well as those with mild learning disabilities. Your work will involve both one-on-one and group interactions, both inside and outside the classroom.
The leadership team is seeking an individual with prior experience who can dedicate themselves for the entire academic year. A naturally calm demeanor is essential to effectively manage challenging situations with care and professionalism. You will play a crucial role in supporting the children emotionally, ensuring they can fully engage with their educational journey.
This position is ideal for individuals aspiring to advance their careers as SEN Teachers, Counselors, or Support Workers.
Key Responsibilities of the SEN Support Assistant:
- Work with Key Stage 1 students
- Assist children with a variety of SEN
- Provide support with personal care needs
- Deliver both individual and group support in diverse settings
