About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead our team of junior surveyors in conducting topographical surveys, creating 3D point cloud models, and monitoring and performing setting out tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain survey controls, setting out grid lines, levelling, traversing, and other land surveying work.
  • Mentor junior surveyors and other junior employees when required.
  • Conduct volumetric surveys and accurately record underground assets.
  • Process data using AutoCAD and ensure all survey equipment is well-maintained.
  • Take responsibility for junior team members and ensure they are properly trained and supported.
Requirements
  • A degree in surveying, construction, or engineering (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and surveying records.
  • A full UK driver's license.
