About the Role:
Our client, a prestigious independent educational institution, is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Team Leader to oversee the development of their rising 2-year-old class. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fostering engaging and innovative learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Early Years Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with the existing leadership to:
1. Manage the daily operations of the classroom.
2. Design and implement creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities that promote children's growth and learning.
3. Evaluate and adapt planning based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
4. Supervise and lead educational activities, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met through careful observation and planning.
5. Maintain up-to-date records of children's progress through observations and online learning journals.
6. Conduct Two Year Progress Checks, engaging with parents to discuss findings and recommendations.
7. Identify children who may require additional support or advanced learning opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- An accredited Early Years qualification.
- Extensive experience in Early Years education.
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS).
