About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the North West region. As a key member of our Pump and Power Services Division, you will be responsible for maximising hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

The Role

You will work closely with our Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams to ensure proactive promotion of hire opportunities for Pump and Power equipment within their existing customer base. This will involve delivering sales presentations to senior management levels and attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate significant experience working in an area sales role within the Pumps or hire industry. Although pumps or generator experience would be preferred, full training will be provided. You will also need to have a proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers
  • Win new business through sales presentations and trade days
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams to promote hire opportunities
  • Deliver sales presentations to senior management levels
  • Attend depot/customer trade days to promote product offering

Requirements

  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the Pumps or hire industry
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective negotiator and problem solver with ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
