Job Summary:
Challender Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Car Panel Beater to join our team. As a Car Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection: Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and identify the necessary repairs.
- Panel Repair: Repair or replace damaged panels, frames, and other structural parts to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Body Filler and Materials: Use body filler and other materials to repair minor dents and scratches, and to achieve a seamless finish.
- Component Replacement: Remove and replace damaged mechanical and electrical components as necessary to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
- Frame Alignment: Realign frames and chassis to manufacturer specifications to ensure a precise fit.
- Preparation for Painting: Prepare repaired vehicles for painting to ensure a smooth and even finish.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep work area clean and tidy, and maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Car Panel Beater in an Accident Repair Centre or similar environment.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and processes, including welding equipment and techniques.
- Skills: Ability to use a range of hand and power tools, attention to detail, and ability to work to a high standard.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is required.
