Job Overview

At Nicholas Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment in the relevant department, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all equipment in the relevant department, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or defects, recommending corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends, as required.
