As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and reviewing patients with heart failure and cardiac problems, providing management advice, and deciding who may be suitable for remote care. You will work closely with our cardiac physiologists, cardiology consultants, and heart failure cardiologists to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

We are a proactive, integrated team that works across acute and community settings, and this post will complement care for patients. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including the Royal Derby Hospital, the community, and the ambulatory heart failure unit.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have advanced clinical diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret plain radiographs and scans. You will also need to have experience in managing acute and chronic cardiac problems, as well as specialist issues specific to cardiology.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assess and review patients with heart failure and cardiac problems
* Provide management advice and decide who may be suitable for remote care
* Work closely with cardiac physiologists, cardiology consultants, and heart failure cardiologists
* Deliver high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings

**Requirements:**

* Professional registration with NMC or HCPC
* Evidence of post-registration study at undergraduate level (Level 6) within cardiology and heart failure
* Independent Prescribing or study of pharmacology & therapeutics at post-graduate level (Level 7)
* Advanced clinical diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret plain radiographs and scans
