About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Engineering, a world-renowned leader in the manufacturing industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of precision-oriented machines, jigs, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble precision machines, jigs, and fixtures using mechanical and electrical components
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to assemble equipment from component level to finished product
  • Operate a variety of workshop tools, including lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders, to achieve high precision
  • Perform minor adjustments to mechanical components, with training provided if necessary
  • Verify that assembled components meet expected geometric tolerances
Requirements
  • Time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in general, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in an engineering position, with a focus on fitting
Desirable Skills
  • HNC in a relevant field
  • Basic knowledge of Stepper Motors, Control Systems, Sensors, and BUS systems
  • Significant hands-on experience, which may outweigh relevant qualifications
