Job Description:

As a key member of the financial operations team, your primary duties will involve Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, and supporting the group with general accounts functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Support the budgeting process by providing relevant financial information.
  3. Work closely with other departments to gather financial information.
  4. Assist in the preparation for audits.
  5. Provide transactional support to the Group Financial Controller.
  6. Complete sales ledger and purchase ledger for the group.
  7. Support the finance team to implement improvements.
  8. Be involved in standardisation across the Group.
  9. Undertake the chasing of all Company debt, including issuing any final and solicitors' letters.
  10. Input Supplier invoices onto Sage Line 50 Accounts and prepare them for monthly Supplier payment run.
  11. General administration duties relevant to your position, including data entry and responding to emails and telephone calls.

Key Skills:

  1. Ability to adapt to change with a flexible approach to work.
  2. Experience working in finance.
  3. Strong purchase ledger and Sales ledger experience.
  4. Great communication skills.
  5. The ability to take ownership of a process.
