Join Our Team as a Tax Compliance Assistant Manager

We're a leading data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry, and we're looking for a talented Tax Compliance Assistant Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our corporate finance team, you'll work closely with our Head of International Tax in London to support tax compliance and related accounting responsibilities for our non-US operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare statutory account tax provisions for UK companies
  • Support with Indirect tax compliance for EMEA and APAC countries, including preparing data for external tax advisors and VAT/GST reconciliations under US GAAP and local GAAP
  • Support with corporation tax compliance for non-US countries, including preparing data for external tax advisors and performing the first review of corporate tax returns
  • Manage corporation tax payments and support with the preparation of the UK PAYE Settlement Agreement return and other employment tax filings as needed
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or tax
  • Accounting or tax qualification (CA, ACA, CTA, ACCA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, and other data manipulation capabilities
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to perform self-review to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams
